We used our AAA travel agent to book our Disney Fort Wilderness Vacation and received the AAA discount. We were in the 400 loop and the sites were a little tight but other than that we loved everything about this campground. There are a ton of activities scheduled everyday to keep the kids busy. We had a great time and will return again in the future.
This is a peaceful little campground. Campground hosts were wonderful. Plenty of space between sites and our site was fairly level. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Electric hookup but no water or sewer hookups. Several water spigots are located throughout the campground. We enjoyed our stay and will return to this campground in the future.
We actually camped here in November of 2007. We were originally assigned to site number 152 but the light post was on the wrong side of site and we were unable to open our slide-out. The sewer, water and electric hookups were located toward the front of the site instead of the back. We asked to be moved and were moved to site 151. The hookups and light post were in the correct locations but the site was very small and it was difficult to level our 29' travel trailer. This campground is also next to a very busy two lane highway and it was extremely noisy. The bathrooms are very clean and the campground is close to Silver Dollar City. The pool looked nice but it was closed for the season.
